Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a domain name before starting my website?

No. If you do not already have a domain name, we can help guide you through selecting and purchasing one that fits your business. Your domain name is your website address (example: www.yourbusiness.com) and helps customers find you online.

Do I need to provide my own website content and photos?

You are welcome to provide your own photos, business information, and written content. I can also help organize your content and recommend ways to showcase your services effectively.

How long does it take to build a website?

Most websites are completed within 2–4 weeks depending on the size of the project, client feedback, and how quickly content and approvals are provided.

What website platforms do you use?

I specialize in building websites using Wix, a user-friendly platform that allows businesses to easily manage and update their website after launch.

Do I need to have a logo or branding already?

No. If you have existing branding, I can incorporate it into your website design. If you are starting from scratch, we can discuss ways to create a look that represents your business.

Will my website work on phones?

Yes. All websites are designed to be mobile-friendly and optimized for customers viewing your site on smartphones and tablets. The mobile version may have slight design adjustments to improve the user experience on smaller screens, but the functionality and important features of your website will remain the same.

Do you offer website updates after my website launches?

Yes. Website Care Plans are available for businesses that need ongoing updates, maintenance, and support after launch.

How does payment work?

Website projects must be paid in full before the website is launched. Payments can be completed securely online through the Wai Web Design website.

Do I own my website after it is completed?

Yes. Once your website project is complete and payment has been received, you will have ownership and access to your website.
